This app is created by people with Parkinsons and inspired by science, with the aim of slowing down disease progression and improving quality of life.

PDbuddy is designed to be an easy-to-use tool that can help with the everyday habits and activities of people with Parkinsons. Regardless of age and PD stage, anyone can benefit from the features of this app.

One of the core features of PDbuddy is the routine recommended by dozens of neuroscientists who have been working with PwP for decades. These routines include physical, brain, voice, and hands exercises, appropriate diet, meditation and learning every day about the condition. Users can join the weekly competition by completing the routines, collecting points, and comparing their progress with others.

Users can also set up pill reminders and keep track of all their meds and supplements, as well as keep a journal with an easy-to-use mood and symptoms checker. The app also has an explore section where users can learn about pharmaceutical developments, medical trials, supplements, scientific research, nutrition, technology, alternative therapies, and more.
PDbuddy also enables users to connect with other PD buddies, find events to attend together and stay in touch with others through the apps chat feature.

The app offers a free two-week trial period, after which users can opt for a small monthly or annual subscription. The income generated from the subscriptions is used to further the apps development. However, the team is committed to providing free access to those who struggle with payments and offer free access to public health workers, volunteers working with people with Parkinson’s, and researchers.
